She also has a degree in Natural Science.

Mrs. Howard enjoys reading books like Desert Solitaire by Edward AbbeyOne Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia MarquezEast of Eden by John Steinbeck, and anything written by Barbara Kingsolver and Jodi Piccoult.   One of her favorite quotes is “Well-behaved women seldom make history” by Laurel Thatcher Ulrich. Mrs. Howard’s favorite activities include mountain biking, running, backpacking, kayaking, snowboarding, Nordic skiing, ORGANIZING, and exploring everything with her children Angus and Violet! In her past adventures, she explored Baja Mexico by truck and lived in Bahamas for one year.
