Mrs. Carrie LaFay. Her Story...
She has taught for ten years and
is currently the second grade teacher at Meadows Valley School. She grew up in Weippe, Idaho and graduated from Timberline
High School. In high school she participated in basketball, volleyball, track, cheerleading, and drill team.
Carrie earned her Bachelor of Science degree In Elementary Education from Lewis-Clark State College. Currently she is working on a Reading
and Special Education endorsement.
Mrs. LaFay has a son Brendan who is the apple of her eye. She and her husband Brent enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, camping,
and hiking together. Reading is one of her favorite pass times. She loves mystery novels so her favorite authors are James Patterson, Stuart Woods, Patricia Cornwell, and Janet Evanovich. She has traveled through the eastern and western
Caribbean. She inspires her students with these words…
