Dear Parents: Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year!
I hope your summer vacation was enjoyable and you are rested and ready for what will be a fantastic school year.
I would like to take a moment
to introduce myself as the elementary principal. I taught sixth grade intervention reading and language arts in Caldwell
before joining the Meadows Valley School District. My passion always has been and will be educating children.
The elementary staff and I are committed to work together towards Meadows Valley’s goals in student achievement
and academic success. We have high expectations for our students because we know that all of our students
are capable of tremendous achievements. I am very proud to be part of the Meadows Valley Learning Community
and am looking forward to the upcoming year. I invite you to become active in your child’s education. Joining PTA, volunteering in your child’s classroom,
and attending school functions are easy and fun ways to get involved at Meadows Valley. Through teamwork,
communication and dedication to continuous improvement, Meadows Valley will continue to be a place where children will flourish.
Thank you for your commitment to your students. It is an honor to be a part of Meadows Valley Learning
Community. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate
to contact me at 347-2411 or mwells@mvsd11.org. Sincerely, Mary Wells Elementary Principal
